Bravura Season 3 – Hyderabad Edition

Do you know what is common between Australian actor Danny Alsabagh, U.S-based Colletey’s Cookies founder Colletto Divitto, rapper Laz D and fashion model Madeline Stuart? Apart from being the best in their field of work, successful and obviously famous, these personalities have something else in common. And the common thread is Down Syndrome.

Yes, you will be surprised to know that Down Syndrome, which we often tend to associate with as a kind of taboo, is actually just a genetic disorder which results in physical growth delays, characteristic facial features and just mild intellectual disability. With correct guidance, support and positive environment, kids and adults born with Down Syndrome can achieve great heights and lead a normal life. And this change needs to be brought from their childhood and early days.

It is time that we bring kids with Down Syndrome at equal pedestal with other kids. These kids also have dreams, aspirations, ideas and talent. All they need is love, warmth, empathy, motivation, and the right platform.

To achieve the same, RACIPA ( Ray of ancient contemporary and Indian performing art) is set to mark March 21, 2020 ( World Down Syndrome Day) with BRAVURA Young Hyderabad Edition, a fashion-cum-talent show exclusively for the kids of Down Syndrome because as we strongly believe there is #nothingdownaboutit.

RACIPA has been very successfully organizing BRAVURA Young in Delhi NCR where kids of all ages took part in fashion and talent show. The organization has actively been including kids with Down Syndrome as well where we came to understand and acknowledge the fact that these kids are equally enthusiastic and talented. Catch a glimpse of the shows happened in past two years right here.

To give an exclusive platform to DS kids, RACIPA in Association with DSPS and golden chapter is now set to bring BRAVURA Young to Hyderabad to organize India’s 1st fashion-cum-talent show for kids with Down Syndrome to mark the World Down Syndrome Day. The event will begin with ramp walk along with brief introduction to be followed by a talent show where kids can showcase any performing art like singing, dancing, poetry recitation, mimicry, playing musical instrument or martial art.

The event will end with the felicitation of winners as Master and Miss BRAVURA Young along with several other prizes and honors for every participant
